A-67 Highway or Cantabria-Meseta Highway

The A-67 highway, also known as Cantabria-Meseta highway, connects the regions of Cantabria and the central plateau.

It is a free highway and its main tour goes from Santander, the capital of Cantabria, to Palencia, in the Autonomous Community of Castilla y León.

The A-67 has an approximate length of 150 kilometers and crosses mountainous landscapes, such as the peaks of Europe, before reaching the central plateau.

It is a route used by both local traffic and long -distance traffic, since it connects important cities such as Santander, Torrelavega, Reinosa, Aguilar de Campoo and Palencia.

This highway has significantly improved the connections between Cantabria and the rest of Spain, facilitating the transport of goods, tourism and mobility of citizens. In addition, being a free highway, the payment of rates to travel for it is not required.
